dear abel // 15 months

Dear Abel, 

The past 15 months have been challenging and stretching, but so full of joy, love, and laughter.  You are mama's boy, through and through.  You must know where mama is at all times...and if mama's in sight, you must be touching her!  We love your adorable sense of humor and your go with the flow attitude (again as long as mama's near you're happy to go anywhere!).  You're strong and stubborn, which is a great skill when interacting with your big brother - you can hold your own just fine!  That sweet smile of yours is so contagious, but you are not afraid to voice your opinion about anything.  You love to climb and explore, if it's off limits, you're ready to check it out.  We often find you on top of the kitchen table finishing up someone's leftovers, or attempting to climb a latter or standing on top of the couch...you name it, you've tried to scale it! We love your sense of adventure!  Keep growing and exploring, little one.

abel henry // 11 months

The pages fall off the calendar so quickly, these days.  It's hard to imagine we're a month away from celebrating your first birthday! 

You're very much mama's boy!!  You love to snuggle and stay close.  Some days you just don't want to be put down.







You've been such a different eater than big brother.  Though you don't dislike food, you mostly just can't be bothered!  You'd much rather snuggle with mama and enjoy some milk!

dear abel // week 1

Dear Abel,

Sweet boy, you are such a blessing!  It's hard to believe how quickly this past week has flown.  Especially after waiting so long for your arrival!  You're such an easy going little guy.  You love to snuggle and prefer being held to just about anything.  You love to curl up in a little ball in our arms and tilt your head back in what seems like a super uncomfortable position.  Your so tolerant of your big brother who has been so curious about you.  He's a great helper abd loves to hold your hand while we change your diaper.  It's hard to imagine life without you sweet boy!
